Hypnotherapy in Horsham, West Sussex
A deeper, more soulful approach to creating lasting change
Hello, I’m Kat. Rather than simply focusing on the presenting issue, I use hypnotherapy to uncover the experiences, core beliefs and subconscious patterns that may be driving it.
My approach is deep yet gentle, and completely individual to you. I combine hypnosis with practical coaching support, helping you to integrate the changes and insights that happen within a session into your everyday life.
Hypnotherapy that is completely individual to you
I have studied both Eastern and Western approaches to hypnotherapy, giving me a wide range of techniques to draw upon depending on you, your mind and what you are coming to me for.
I don’t use standard scripts. Each session is shaped around you, including the way we enter hypnosis. Everybody’s mind works slightly differently, and part of my role is finding the approach that works best for yours.
Hypnotherapy can be a brilliant resource for exploring a wide range of emotional, behavioural and physical experiences. In my practice, I frequently work with clients experiencing anxiety, insomnia, overwhelm, digestive issues and persistent physical symptoms, as well as those working through difficult past experiences or patterns they feel ready to change.
I also provide specialist support for mothers, drawing on my training as a Motherhood Studies Practitioner as well as my own lived experience as a mother of two.

A space to truly switch off
I love people, and helping someone move through something that has been troubling them and find life easier and more joyful again is a huge privilege for me.
My private cabin is set in my field on the outskirts of Horsham, amongst the horses and other animals. It provides a quiet, nature-based setting where you can step away from everyday life and give yourself the space to focus fully on you.
What does hypnotherapy actually feel like?
Many people feel a little nervous about hypnotherapy before they experience it, often because their only reference point is stage hypnosis.
Please don’t be.
There is no right or wrong way for you to show up, and you remain in control throughout the session.
Every session begins with a conversation and plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions. Sometimes we move very naturally from that conversation into hypnosis, while other sessions include a more defined induction.
You don’t need to be good at visualising, know how to “do” hypnosis or make anything happen. Your job is simply to listen to my voice and notice and describe whatever comes up for you. I will guide you from there.
What if I’ve tried hypnotherapy before?
I often work with clients who have experienced hypnosis previously but didn't achieve the change they were hoping for.
That doesn't necessarily mean hypnotherapy isn't right for you.
Everybody’s mind works differently. I have specialist training in a range of induction techniques and approaches, which allows me to adapt the experience rather than expecting you to respond to one particular method.
Helping someone who wasn't sure hypnosis could work for them to have a completely different experience of it is one of the parts of this work I particularly enjoy.

For those who want to explore a little deeper
For clients who are curious about the more Eastern or spiritual approaches to hypnotherapy, I also offer sessions exploring past lives and connection with your higher self.
These sessions are entirely optional and aren't a necessary part of working with me. You don't need to hold any particular spiritual beliefs to benefit from hypnotherapy.
For those who do feel drawn to this kind of exploration, however, it can offer a fascinating space to follow what emerges from the subconscious and your own intuition, with me there to guide and support you throughout the experience.
