This week's focus will be on Stress & Physical Health.
Anxiety is now the most prevalent mental health condition in the world. Stress and anxiety have a number of detrimental effects to your physical body, mind and behaviours. These range from an increased chance of heart disease, to an inability to focus and irritable moods/behaviour.
Many factors that induce stress are beyond our control, but we can always change how we react to them. Learning to manage your own stress and anxiety is essential in modern living and will help you lead a more relaxed, productive and enjoyable life.
During the meditation, you’ll be guided to reach the brain frequency associated with meditation and higher sensory perception. This session will also go into depth on the correlation between stress and physical health symptoms, allowing you to better monitor and maintain your health.

Kat is a warm, open practitioner who uses a mixture of meditation techniques as well as inducing deeper relaxation through sound bowl therapy. It is her aim to make all participants feel welcome, relaxed and come out better equipped to deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life.
